TRAILBLAZER STUDIOS ADDS NEW SALES REPRESENTATIVE, KATYE RONE

RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 11, 2007) – Katye Rone joins Trailblazer Studios as Sales Representative for the creative boutiques, Red Truck Films, Serious Robots and Blazing Music + Sound.

Originally hailing from Kentucky, Rone attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism and Advertising.

Rone most recently handled sales and public relations for Fortune 500 speaker and author, Lynette Lewis, working between New York City and Durham.  During her time with Lewis, she managed speaking engagements, press interviews and the national tour for Lewis’s book, Climbing the Ladder in Stilettos.  Rone wrapped her tenure coordinating multiple bookings for Lewis on NBC’s The Today Show as well as co-developing Lewis’s web TV series, Life in Stilettos, premiering in January 2008.

Prior to her experience with Lewis, Rone served as a Broadcast Production Coordinator at the Durham-based advertising agency, McKinney.  At McKinney, Rone coordinated TV and radio commercials for national clients, such as Audi, Sony, Travelocity, and NASDAQ.  She also managed reel screenings for production and post companies, which whet her appetite for production and post production.

Rone’s experience in advertising, public relations and sales makes her a natural fit as she returns to the commercial world and now sits on the other side of the screening table.  At Trailblazer Studios, Rone will continue to pursue her love of meeting new people, traveling and connecting clients to great work.
