BLAZING MUSIC + SOUND SOUNDS GREAT TO LITTERMAID Scores Playful Tune About My Buddy and Me “It’s a great, really effective tune,” says Loyalty Films executive producer Bob Nastasi. “Blazing Music + Sound is extremely talented and doesn’t waste any time. You give them the parameters of the composition and they come back with extraordinary things. And their producers are very flexible and don’t shun my input; they consider your creative contributions, take as much information from you as they can and execute the music brilliantly. It’s so easy to work with them.” Composer Eric Johnson notes that the company’s “biggest competition these days is licensed music” which often “doesn’t have near the impact of an original piece. A lot of times people have a particular personal association with previously-recorded music. New, original music means all-new associations. It can be more powerful than licensed music, custom-tailored to the spot, guaranteed to be in sync, and less expensive.” Blazing Music + Sound’s senior engineers Aaron Keane and Willie Elias recorded the music, created the sound design and performed the mix using Digidesign Pro Tools HD systems. Red Truck Films shot the spots, and Serious Robots provided post production. Both are sister boutiques of Blazing Music + Sound. “It was great to be able to have a song that said exactly what we wanted, when we wanted, and at the exact tempo we wanted,” says Bob Costabile. “This made editing much easier. Blazing’s song is extremely catchy, and we don’t have to worry that viewers will have other memories attached to it that have nothing to do with our client’s product.”
