Hires New Bilingual Chief Engineer, Sound Designer from HBO Latin America

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 8, 2003) – Blazing Music + Sound is pleased to announce that Wilfredo Elias Rivera has joined the Raleigh music and sound studio.

“Not only is Willie a talented engineer and sound designer, his experience in the Spanish-speaking market enables us to expand our services into a commercial sector that’s growing rapidly,” said Blazing Music + Sound executive producer Eric Johnson.

Rivera, born and raised in Puerto Rico, has worked on projects for McCann Erickson, Young and Rubicam Miami, Nickelodeon Latin America and both Disney’s and MTV’s Latin American networks.

“When I did freelance work for BM+S, the working environment just felt right to me,” said Rivera. “They’ve made impressive investments in the facility and the technology. Eric is running a truly professional studio that’s quickly making a name for itself.”

There have been many changes occurring at BM+S including the addition of a surround studio designed by renowned sound engineer/studio designer Chris Huston. The room is equipped with a Pro Tools HD2 Digital Audio Workstation and a Mackie 5.1 monorting system.
